It was a surprise to learn that one of our rams, 172565, came up at the top of the table for Intramuscular fat and came a close second for Shear Force 5, both these traits are vitally important for eating quality and taste. The wether lambs from the trial had been processed at the Gundagai works where these measurements were taken.
